Kansai Nerolac Paints today said its net profit rose by 26.66% to Rs 52.6 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011, over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 41.5 crore in the corresponding period of previous fiscal, Kansai Nerolac Paints said in a filing to the BSE.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 665.5 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011, compared to Rs 560.1 crore for the same period previous fiscal.
For the nine months ended December 31, 2011, the company posted a net profit of Rs 171 crore, compared to Rs 147.1 crore in the same period previous financial year.
Shares of Kansai Nerolac Paints today closed at Rs 875 on the BSE, up 0.57% from its previous close.
