KSK Energy net up 33% at Rs 134 cr

Power plant developer KSK Energy Ventures today said its consolidated net profit rose by 32.62 per cent to Rs 135.91 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009.      

The company had a net profit of Rs 102.48 crore in FY'08, KSK Energy said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.      

Total income increased to Rs 492.41 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009, from Rs 357.73 crore in the last fiscal.      

On a standalone basis, KSK Energy posted a net profit of Rs 103.62 crore for the year ended March 31, 2009, as compared to Rs 101.10 crore in the last fiscal.      

For the full year ended March 31, 2009, total income rose to Rs 243.04 crore as against Rs 169.37 crore in the previous year.      

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 182.55, up 1.08 per cent on the BSE.
