Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra's farm equipment sector (FES) division today reported a 2.91 per cent increase in tractor sales in September to 17,481 units.
The company had sold 16,986 units during the same month last year, the company said in a statement.
Domestic sales were marginally down to 16,300 units as against 16,359 units in the year-ago period, it added.
Exports during the month soared by 88.36 per cent to 1,181 units compared to 627 units in the year-ago month.
