M&M two-wheeler sales jump 8% in July

Auto maker Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) today reported 8% jump in its two-wheeler sales at 13,012 units in July, 2011.

The cumulative sales for the April-July period stood at 45,288 units as against 39,291 units in the corresponding period last year, up 15%, Mahindra Two Wheelers said in a statement.

"We are witnessing higher growth momentum on the back of increasing consumer preference for our scooter brands in many key markets across the country," Mahindra & Mahindra President (Two Wheeler Sector) Anoop Mathur said.

The company sells scooters Rodeo and Duro in India.
