Acknowledging the power of an idea to galvanise bigger societal changes, the diversified Mahindra Group has launched a unique platform, Spark the Rise.
This will provide individuals, NGOs and organisations a platform where they can come together and seek funding, manpower and expertise support in technology, energy, agriculture and rural development, infrastructure and transportation and social entrepreneurship.
“It’s an open source platform for seeding of an idea,” said Anand Mahindra, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of the group. “This is to connect, collaborate and drive positive change but also lend financial support to the best ideas.” Every month, eight winning ideas of ‘sparks’ will receive a grant from Mahindra.
