The Anand Mahindra-led Mahindra Satyam is looking to relist on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in the next fiscal, a top company official said today.
"We expect to list on the NYSE in 2011-12," Mahindra Satyam Chief Executive Officer C P Gurnani told reporters at the NASSCOM summit here.
The IT major's American Depository Receipts were delisted from the bourse in October 2010 after it expressed inability to meet certain regulatory requirements.
Mahindra Satyam (formerly Satyam Computer) was embroiled in a major fraud in January 2009 when its founder-Chairman B Ramalinga Raju confessed to inflating its accounts.
The Hyderabad-based firm was later acquired by the Mahindra Group and renamed Mahindra Satyam.
Asked about the merger of the IT firm with another Group company, Tech Mahindra, Gurnani said "we don't have any timeline for the merger."
