“Our thoughts and sympathies go to all those impacted by this tragedy. As the official technology consulting partner and supporter of the 2013 Boston Marathon and the Boston Athletic Association, we had several TCSers at the event location. All our employees associated with the marathon as well as the runners from Team TCS have been accounted for and are safe,” said a statement from the company.
Over 35 runners among the over 25,000 participants at the marathon were representing TCS. The company has been associated with the Boston Athletic Association for the last three years.
Two bomb explosions rocked the Boston Marathon, leaving three dead and hundreds injured. The two blasts occurred within seconds at a sidewalk along the route of the Boston Marathon.
