Bulk tea major McLeod Russel India today reported a net profit of Rs 117.11 crore for the quarter ended December 2011, down 13% from the corresponding period last year.
A company statement said sales during the period under review were higher at Rs 393.11 crore as compared to Rs 366.66 crore registered in the same period of 2010-11.
The company said domestic sales were marginally lower at Rs 230.53 crore, down from Rs 235.15 crore in the corresponding period of 2010-11.
Sales outside India was higher at Rs 163.13 crore against Rs 131.51 crore in same period the 2010-11.
