MICA to conduct MDP on global leadership
Advertising and market research educational institute, Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) has launched a management development programme (MDP) on 'Communicating Global Leadership'.
Scheduled from December 3, 2012 to December 7, 2012, the five-day programme will sensitise senior and top management professionals, already in leadership positions or soon to take up global leadership roles, to subtle nuances of cross-cultural communication and make them ready to provide leadership in today’s globalised world.
To be led by Nagesh Rao, director of MICA, the MDP will equip participants with tools, techniques and skills to be ready to lead their organisations with a global mindset.
MICA offers several undergraduate and post graduate programmes in advertising, market research, media planning and communication.
"The programme will use a well-known, reliable and valid survey to assess the current level of global competency, identifying participants' strengths in global leadership and highlight areas of further improvement," said Rao.
The programme will also deliberate on similarities that act as bridges across cultures.
