Muthoot Capital Services Limited registered a 35 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 2.32 crore during the third quarter ended December 31, 2010, as against Rs 1.72 crore in the same quarter last year. Total income from operations increased 79 per cent to Rs 9.94 crore from Rs 5.56 crore for the corresponding period last year. For the nine-month ended December 2010, the company achieved a total income of Rs 26.19 crore compared with Rs 15.85 crore during the same period last year, up 65 per cent. Net profit during the period rose 37 per cent from Rs 5.11 crore to Rs 6.98 crore, according to a company release.
