Muthoot Finance net drops 20% in Q3

Total income from operations fell 11% on a y-on-y basis to Rs 1,068 cr

Leading gold loan company Muthoot Finance recorded a 20% drop in net profit for the third quarter ended December 31 to Rs 154 crore due to lower income from operations.

The total income from operations fell 11% on a year-on-year basis to Rs 1,068 crore.

The gross Non-Performing Assets (NPA) ratio was at 1.86% compared with 1.99% a year ago while the net NPA ratio stood at 1.53% compared with 1.67% a year ago.
