Nalco signs pact with Rio Tinto Alcan

Various developmental research activities in collaborative efforts will be taken up between the two companies under this agreement

National Aluminium Company Ltd (Nalco), the navratna PSU under the Union mines ministry, has entered into an R&D (research & development) cooperation agreement with Aluminium Pechiney (AP) / Rio Tinto Alcan.

The agreement was signed between B K Satpathy, executive director, Nalco and Bernard Allais, director (sales and marketing), AP Smelter Technology recently. N R Mohanty, chairman cum managing director, S C Padhy, director (human resources), K C Samal, director (finance) and other senior officials of Nalco were present on the occasion.

Various developmental research activities in collaborative efforts will be taken up between the two companies under this agreement.
