Nitco Tiles Ltd, leading manufacturer of ceramic tiles and largest seller of Italian marbles in India, has drawn up plans to set up at least 16 exclusive company-owned showrooms across the country within the next one year.

Disclosing this, Nitco managing director Vivek Talwar said that the total envisaged investment in the proposed 16 showrooms would be to the tune of Rs 10 crore.

Talwar, who was here on Saturday to attend the two-day "Nitco Show" organised by his company to display the latest trends in ceramic floor and wall tiles as well as Italian marble and ceramic mosaics, said his company would be holding such shows in all the metros and mini-metros of the country during the next two months.

Revealing that Nitco Tiles would be launching first-of-its-kind dust-free ceramic floor tiles in the Indian market within the next one month, he said, "The requisite facilities to produce such dust-free tiles have been created at an investment of Rs 8 crore at our world-class plant at Alibaug, Mumbai. And trial production of these tiles have already commenced."

With meticulous craftsmanship and finest designing, these tiles would have superior finish in line with international standards and would offer value for money, he added.
