The country's largest iron ore producer NMDC today reported a 81 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 1,518 crore in the third quarter of the current fiscal, over the same period a year ago.
The company had posted a profit of Rs 837.07 crore for the same period last fiscal, the company said in a statement.
The company reported net sales of Rs 2,621 crore in the reporting quarter against Rs 1,587 crore in the year-ago period, the statement added.
The company said its board approved an interim dividend of Rs 1.15 per equity share for the current fiscal.
