If you recently purchased electronic items from Amazon.in and you are planning to return them, you are going to be disappointed. Amazon India has silently updated its returns policy for electronic items, and according to the new rules, you can only get them replaced within 10 days if they are found to be defective.
The new returns policy applies only to items fulfilled by Amazon. Refunds against all other items will be decided by respective sellers.
Amazon's Indian competitor Snapdeal offers a refund if the product is damaged or varies from the descrption. One won't get the refund if one is dissatisfied with the product.
Like Amazon, Flipkart also makes refunds only if the seller is unable to replace the product.
