Now, Yahoo In Indian Languages

Do you want to Yahoo in Indian languages? Your wait may be over soon. Yahoo.co.in, the India-specific website of Yahoo.com, is planning to localise to host content in vernacular languages.

Yahoo Web Services India Pvt Ltd has also drawn up plans wherein messages using Yahoo Messenger and e-mails can be sent in Indian languages.

Yahoo is the second international website, after Hotmail, which has decided to bet on Indian languages to drive revenue and attract subscribers. Hotmail has already said that it would launch e-mail services in Hindi which will later be extended to other Indian languages.
