Milk product company, Paras, has invested about Rs 30 crore in its dairy processing unit at Hardoi district in central Uttar Pradesh.
The plant with a current capacity of processing 3.5 lakh litres of milk/day will be augmented to handle 10 lakh litres/day of milk in another three years. “More investment will flow in this plant,” VRS Foods managing director Rajendra Singh said here.
The company has three units in the state at Hardoi, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr in UP, which account for about 70 per cent of the 22 lakh litres/day of milk collected by it in UP and Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, Paras has entered the Lucknow market with milk and ghee products.
