FMCG major Paras Pharmaceuticals today launched a variant of its pain-killer brand 'Moov-Neck & Shoulder', keeping in view its plan to achieve annual 25 per cent growth.
"Moov has reported total sales of around Rs 80 crore per annum and with the launch of the new variant, we are expecting Rs 100 crore sales from the brand alone in the current fiscal," Paras Pharmaceutical Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer S Raghunandan told reporters here.
The company also launched an ayurvedic cough syrup under its another popular brand 'D'Cold'.
"The D'Cold brand has sales of around Rs 20 crore per annum and with the launch of the D'Cold Natural cough syrup, the company is entering into a new segment," Raghunandan said.
Sales from the brand are expected to grow by 50 per cent to Rs 30 crore per annum, he added.
Paras has also chalked out plans for an ad campaign to push the sales of these two brands.
Asked about promotional spending, he said, "We are spending around 20 per cent of our total sales on promotion and in the current fiscal, we would spend over Rs 90 crore to achieve top line growth of 25 per cent."
