Pidilite Industries, the market leader in adhesives and construction chemicals, is firming up functional tie-ups with domestic architecture and interior design schools.
Under this arrangement, the company educates students on the changing dynamics of modern construction industry and the increasing use of specialised chemical solutions. Pidilite’s flagship brand is Fevicol, which commands almost 75 per cent of organised adhesive market share in India.
“We have such tie-ups with about 160 schools in India and plan to increase the number,” Pidilite head marketing Vishal Malhan said here. Meanwhile, the company held its seventh edition of Pidilite Awards for Excellence in Lucknow, which fetes final year students of architecture and interior design.
