Prasana Krishnan joins Sony Six as business head

Multi Screen Media (MSM) has appointed Prasana Krishnan as business head of its sports channel Sony SIX. He comes in from Neo Sports Broadcast Pvt Ltd where he was chief operating officer.

N P Singh, COO, MSM India said, "We are certain that Prasana's experience and understanding of the business and our audience will help us achieve our objective of becoming the leading player in the genre. We are optimistic that his appointment will further strengthen and grow SIX’s position in what can be called as one of the most competitive broadcasting markets in the world. We look forward to a long and fruitful working association with him."

Krishnan said, "I am delighted to have become a part of this prestigious group. As India’s Premier Sports Entertainment Channel, SIX has uniquely positioned itself in the sports broadcasting industry showcasing some of the world’s finest international sporting properties like Pepsi IPL, UFC, NBA, TNA & UEFA EURO. I look forward to take up this challenging role and work towards ensuring that the channel grows consistently to the leadership position in this space."

Krishnan has also had stints at Nimbus Media, The Times of India Group and Arthur Andersen.
