Premji may sell small stake

Wipro Chairman Azim Premji on Friday said he could sell a small stake if he was not able to bring down the promoters’ holding in the company to 75 per cent after the completion of demerger process. He said it would depend on the eventual interpretation of the guidelines. Under Sebi norms, listed entities will have to ensure a minimum public shareholding of 25 per cent by June 2013.
