Liquor manufacturer Radico Khaitan today reported a profit after tax of Rs 9.59 crore for the quarter ended on March 31, 2010, over 20-folds increase compared to that in the corresponding period last year.
The Delhi-headquartered company had reported a net profit of Rs 43 lakh in the fourth quarter of 2008-09 fiscal, the company said in a statement.
During the fourth quarter of 2009-10, the company's total income rose to Rs 297.72 crore compared to Rs 238.17 crore in the previous fiscal.
For the financial year ended on March 31, 2010, the company reported a net profit of Rs 41.54 crore, over six-folds increase compared to Rs 6.53 crore in the previous fiscal.
The total income of the company rose by 23 per cent to Rs 1,147.08 crore from Rs 932.66 crore in the previous fiscal.
