Auto component maker Rane Brake Lining today reported an over three-fold increase in its net profit at Rs 2.66 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.
The net profit for the first quarter during the last financial year stood at Rs 80.13 lakh, the company said in a statement.
The total income also rose 5.41 per cent to Rs 53.09 crore in the latest quarter from Rs 50.37 crore in the year-ago period, it added.
The company has its manufacturing facility at Tiruchy in Tamil Nadu. Some of its major clients include Mahindra & Mahindra, General Motors, Maruti Suzuki India and Tata Motors.
