French auto major Renault's Indian arm Renault India Pvt. Ltd. will be increasing its prices on the existing product range from January 2014. However, the company refrained from disclosing the quantum of the increase.

The hike will be in line with industry standards. Price rise is in order because of  swelling inputs cost, which has further driven up the cost of components, said the company.

On Tuesday, Renault's partner and Japanese auto major Nissan said that it is planning for price increase ranging from 2% to 4%, will be effective from January 2014.

However, due to festive season and year end the best time to buy Renault  is now as it is offering best deal on its product portfolio including additional two year warranty, attractive exchange benefits, three years insurance and 24x7 road assistance to all  customers joining the Renault family.
