REpower Systems, a subsidiary of Suzlon Energy, today said it has bagged a contract for supplying 6 turbines for a wind project in France.
REpower Systems would provide 6 wind turbines for generating 12 MW of power for the La Chaude Valle wind farm in northern France, Suzlon Energy said in a statement.
The project financing of 20 million euros (approximately Rs 140 crore) covers the total cost for the development and the realisation of this project, the statement said.
A turnkey contract, including the supply of the wind turbines, construction of the infrastructure, erection and grid connection equipment, has been signed between REpower Systems and the wind farm.
Suzlon Energy closed at Rs 22.15, up 3.50% from the previous close on the BSE.
