Need more public, private partnerships for foreign buys, says RIL

Company official says as far as RIL is concerned, we are currently looking at Venezuela for upstream opportunities

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) Executive Director P M S Prasad on Tuesday batted for more public & private sector partnerships in foreign acquisitions.

“We are currently looking at Venezuela for upstream opportunities and it may be coupled with some downstream options.

We are importing more than 300,000 barrels a day, which are looking to enhance,” Prasad said on the sidelines of a Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry summit in New Delhi.
