Sengupta is ONGC offshore director

He succeeds P K Borthakur who superannuated on January 31

Tapas Kumar Sengupta took charge as the new director (offshore) of energy Maharatna Oil and Natural Gas Corporation. He succeeds P K Borthakur, who retired on January 31.

A chemical engineering graduate from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, Sengupta is among a select club of production engineers who have an exposure to both onshore and offshore operations.
