Sun TV profit up by 16% in Q4

Total income rose by 4%

Sun TV Network Ltd (Sun TV) has posted a 16.26 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 236 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 as compared to Rs 202.99 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

The company's total income has increased to Rs 592.97 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016 from Rs 572.02 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

For the year ended March 31, 2016, the consolidated revenues was up by seven per cent at Rs 2,569.78 crore as against Rs 2,395.38 crore.

The Ebitda was up by 6 per cent at Rs 1,774.20 crore and net profit (PAT) also up by 17 per cent at Rs 913.38 crore in comparison to Rs 782.04 crores for the previous year.
