Tata Communications, on Wednesday, launched hybrid cloud network IZO for enterprises that could bring down cost of ownership by 30% for the enterprises.
The new platform will essentially address all possible issues that enterprises face at present in managing cloud solutions. With this, Tata Communications will offer access to a full ecosystem of network, cloud and data centre connectivity making it simple for a business to connect and build its cloud, their way - be it private, hybrid or public, the company said in a statement.
The IZO network platform includes two of the largest cloud platforms - Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure - and over 50 data centers.
Through partnerships with 20 service providers, IZO Internet WAN provides deterministic routing of traffic with guaranteed end-to-end SLAs and business standard reporting.
"Multi-national businesses will now experience faster deployment times, while reducing their total cost of ownership by up to 30%," the company said. It is already in process of deploying this across 300 locations.
"The product will be initially available in 34 countries. We shall cover 100 countries by 2016," said Genius Wong, Senior Vice President, Global Network Services, Tata Communications.
Vinod Kumar, managing director and CEO, Tata Communications, said: "We're taking the necessary steps towards making the Internet Fit For Business by bringing a new level of predictability and reliability to the public Internet that does not exist today."
