Tata Engg Net At Rs 28 Crore

Tata Engineering posted a net profit of Rs 28.03 crore in the first quarter of the financial year ended June 30, 2002, compared with a net loss of Rs 98.9 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. Net sales in the quarter increased 23 per cent to Rs 2,087 crore from Rs 1,697.38 crore in the first quarter of 2001-02.
