Tekla India, the Indian arm of Nasdaq-listed Tekla Corporation, today said it aims to train 1,000 engineers on softwares developed by the company and place them with its clients every year.
"We have launched Tekla Centre of Excellence. It is a franchisee program to train engineers on Tekla software. In this year we have set target to train 1,000 engineers and place them with our clients," Nirmalya Chatterjee, head (business and operations), Tekla India said.
"There is huge demand for workforce trained on Tekla products. We are conducting trainers training program without charging any fee from partners," he added.
Tekla Softwares were used to design stadiums in recent Commonwealth Games. The company offers softwares for use in infrastructure sector namely engineering, steel and concrete structure detailing and construction management.
