The Chennai Angels (TCA) today announced an investment in Brigge Technologies Private Limited, engaged in developing an activity based social network called "Brigge" that aims to bring real world interactions back into social networking. Investment details were not disclosed.

With Brigge, TCA is getting into very early stage investments. Brigge is showing a lot of promise with its pioneering concept, a good product and a dependable team. This investment is a first-of-its-kind social networking platform from India with a potential to disrupt the leisure space," said the deal spokesperson from The Chennai Angels.

Brigge Technologies Private Limited, founded in early 2015 by Prasanna Jagannathan - a Silicon Valley veteran, Sampath Jagannathan - a Product Management specialist and Murali Satagopan - a Marketer/Stand up comic, is into developing contextual social networking platform in the leisure space.

Brigge is a social platform where people can discover and participate in activities happening in their areas of interest. Apart from discovery, Brigge also lets people create activities that other like-minded folk can join. Brigge users can also share updates and photos within the activity.

Brigge preliminary release went live on Android Play Store on September 14, 2015.
