Triveni Eng's net profit jumps 10%

Riding on high sugar prices, Triveni Engineering and Industries, the country’s third largest sugar producer, registered a 10 per cent jump in its net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2009. Net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 37.77 crore. Net sales rose nearly 21 per cent to Rs 457.58 crore.
