The Dubai-based Varkey Group has roped in Anand Sudarshan, former chief executive of Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE), to help Everonn Education Ltd draw its future plan.
Sudarshan is likely to be an external adviser to the company. The management of Everonn was taken over by Varkey last September.
Speaking to reporters after the annual general meeting of the company, Rakesh Sharma, director, Everonn Education and chief executive officer - South Asia, Gems Education, said, “We are working with some external advisers and expect the plans to be in place by December.”
Though Sharma declined to share any details, sources aware of the development said Sudarshan would be advising the group. Sudarshan, who was also present at the AGM, declined to comment.
