Vigilance Awareness Week at MCL

The chairman and managing director (CMD) of Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd (MCL), AN Sahay has said, IT interface in MCL has struck at the roots of corruption through introduction of various innovations wherein face to face interface has been minimised. In his presidential address at the inaugural ceremony at a seminar that marked the beginning of Vigilance Awareness Week-2014 in MCL, Sahay said that strengthening of the moral values should be the next area of focus for creating awareness after the technology part is over. He emphasised the importance of whistle blowers as an important arm of the society to combat corruption.
