Wipro Q2 PAT at Rs 2,085 cr, up 8% annually

IT services revenue rose 4% to Rs 10,923 cr

IT major Wipro reported a net profit of Rs 2,085 crore for the quarter ending September 2014, rise of 8% YoY, as clients in North America and Europe spent more on technology. The  profit numbers are marginally lower when compared to the Rs 2,103 crore reported in the previous quarter ending June 2014 .

The IT services revenue rose 4% to Rs 10,923 crore as against Rs 10,508 crore in June 2014.

On Wednesday, the stock on BSE closed 1.5% lower at Rs 581.70.
