The footwear-and-apparel brand Woodland is anticipating a higher growth this year compared to previous years,.

Harkirat Singh, managing director, Woodland Worldwide, maintained considering the business growth till now we anticipate we could overgrow over previous year’s growth, if things remain consistent.

Woodland which for the last 4-5 years has been growing at 20-25 per cent, is anticipating close to 30 per cent growth. The signs of over growth could also be gauged from the fact that Woodland which planned to open 50 stores this year would finally end up opening close to 60 stores, more than targeted.

As of now the company retails their products through s 350 company owned stores and around 3000 multi brands stores. The reasons for over growth achieved this year, are many, adds Harkirat Singh.
