Xolo to sell quad core smartphone for Rs 12,499 from Monday

The company will expand its portfolio in the quadcore smartphone segment

Lava International's Xolo will start selling its first quad-core smartphone from Monday for Rs 12,499 across country.

"We have started pre-booking for Xolo Q800. It will be available across country at most of the stores from Monday," Xolo spokesperson said.

The company said that company will expand its portfolio in the quadcore smartphone segment. The quadcore based phones have generally have four time more processing than prevalent smartphones with single core processor.

Xolo's quad-core phone will be available in market just before a day when Sony's quad core smartphone , priced at Rs 38,990, is scheduled to hit the market.
