Web portal Yahoo! India and the International Cricket Council (ICC) today launched the official website for the 2011 World Cup Cricket tournament, which begins in the Indian subcontinent next month.
The official website for the ICC World Cup 2011, 'iccevents.Yahoo.Com', will offer live match updates and analysis and users can also buy match tickets and other ICC merchandise through the site.
Moreover, users can also get a consolidated view of Twitter updates directly from cricket fans and top cricketers in one single view, according to a statement.
"Enthusiasts can share their thoughts, play games, create personalised profiles and track matches through interactive schedulers," Yahoo! India Managing Editor Prem Panicker said.
Users will also be to watch and share exclusive video content and photographs on the site.
Yahoo! is the official online partner of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
