YouTube has released an update of its app on iOS, which has Material Design and some in-built editing tools.
According to The Next Web, the company says that the new interface makes it even easier to find and discover new content. Recommended videos, favorite channels, and subscriptions are all directly accessible from the homescreen of the app by either swiping left and right or tapping on the icons. The hamburger menu is not available now.
In addition to the redesigned interface, the update also brings in-app editing tools to YouTube on iOS. The editing tools are simple, but effective. The users can trim video or add a soundtrack, and even add filters as needed.
The latest version of the YouTube app is available now on the App Store for free.
