89 offer letters on first half of Day 2 recruitment in IIT Madras

On the first day, 25 companies made 137 offers

On the first half of the day two of placement in Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M), around 25 companies handed out 89 offer letters to the students.

Of this, VMWare, PayPal, Rolls Royce, CleanMax Solar, Eaton, HSBC, Rivigo Services, PayTM and Vedanta has made more than four offers. The other companies participated in the campus interview during the first half of the day include Squarepoint Capital, Rolls Royce, Cisco, Amazon, Airbus, and PayTM.

On the day one, on December 1, a total of over 130 offers were made by 25 companies and the top recruiters include Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Intel and Samsung R&D, said Manu Santhanam, advisor, Training and Placement, IIT Madras. Intel has made 29 offers on the first day, said the institute.
