Union urban development minister, B Venkaiah Naidu, today said changes in the bifurcation Act was the need of the hour.
Stating that he was conducting talks with the representatives from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on the issue, he said there were mindless ideologies in the Act proposed by the UPA government.
"There are many loopholes in the bifurcation Act. Also, the Opposition is not functioning properly," he said.
