Earthquake of magnitude 5.0 hit Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir at 10:41 am today. Along with J&K, tremors were felt in Pakistan to, including Islamabad and Lahore.

People came out of their homes in panic. No loss of life was reported due to earthquake.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Hindu Kush Region in Afghanistan at the depth of 180 kilometre.
