Chairman of Adani group of companies, Gautam Adani, called on Telangana chief minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, on Monday. Briefing about the group's profile, Adani told Rao that it would be producing 20,000 Mw of power by the year 2020.

The chief minister said that there was a shortage of power in the state and he would be happy if Adani group came forward with its ideas to overcome the shortage, according to an official press release
