 "Hindi internet users estimated at 60 million in India: Survey")
Hindi internet users are growing fast in India and are estimated at over 60 million according to the latest available data.
The number of local language internet users in India is growing at 47% year-on-year and had touched 127 million in June 2015, according to a survey.
"Of the total vernacular language internet users, about 50% are Hindi internet users," Microsoft apps and services marketing director Alok B Lall said here today.
He was in town to demonstrate the latest technology innovations across Microsoft products and services portfolio, which the company claimed had made local language computing more intuitive, discoverable and enabled users to be more proactive.
