Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur hosted IT Conclave 'Cognition 2014' themed around e-commerce in its campus.
A session on e-commerce was organised to enrich students about the imperatives, challenges and fast changing landscape of e-commerce in India.
Senior executives from reputed companies, including Infosys, Make my Trip, Snapdeal etc delivered their talks during conclave. A panel discussion on issues of ethics related to usage of customer data in e-commerce was also held.
An IIT-K spokesperson said the event helped students gain valuable insights in the domain of consultancy and informed them of latest happenings in the e-commerce industry.
