The former Chief Minister has openly said in the past she dont have any family. It is the people of Tamil Nadu and her party members who are the only family.
Jayalalithaa had declared that she owns movable and immovable property worth over Rs113.73 crore. This includes movable assets worth Rs 41.63 crore and immovable assets Rs 72.09 crore.
Core immovable assets include her Poes Garden residence, which industry estimate would be around Rs 90 crore. Her estate at Kodanadu in Ooty, which spread over in 800 acres, according to reports, which will run in several hundred crore.
Around 14.5 acres of agricultural land in Ranga Reddy district in Telangana and 3.43 acres in Cheeyur are some of the other immovable properties.
She had said that as gold articles weighing 21,280.300 grams has been seized by police and are lying in the Karnataka treasury and not in her possession, their exact value could not be ascertained.
Her total liabilities was around Rs 2.04 crore as per the affidavit.
It is not clear whether she has written a will.
Jayalalithaa's late brother J Jayakumar has a son and daughter. Jayakumar's son, Deepak was seen performing last ritual along with Sasikala at Jayalalithaa's funeral on Tuesday.
