Kunal Roy appointed as Niger's ambassador

Roy replaces YP Singh, who is presently India's envoy there

The government has appointed Kunal Roy as India's next ambassador to Niger.

He is expected to assume office there "shortly", an official statement from the Ministry of External Affairs said.

Roy will be replacing YP Singh who is presently India's envoy there.
