Bihar Health Minister Tej Pratap Yadav has announced the setting up of a youth organisation to counter the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The organisation will be called Dharmnirapeksh Sevak Sangh (DSS), reported The Hindu.

It is said that the organisation will pose a counter stance to that of RSS and will resist its "divisive politics".

“The RSS has formed outfits such as the Hindu Yuva Vahini. But the DSS will emerge as a strong counter to its divisive ideology because DSS believes in the unity of all communities,” said Tej Pratap.

“Today RSS is spreading religious fanaticism… fanning out its divisive ideology in the country but the DSS will counter them,” he added.

Senior BJP leader Sushil Modi said that Tej Pratap should join RSS first before launching his own organisation. “I wish his organisation all success, but he must gain some experience first. I advise him to first join an RSS shakha for a year by wearing khaki shorts, holding lathi and chanting ‘Bharat Mata ki jai’,” said Sushil Modi.
