Naxals ambush returning polling parties, 3 killed

Two other troopers besides a doctor were injured when Naxals blew up the vehicles in which they were travelling

Naxalites ambushed a party returning after conducting the election and killed two security personnel and a civilian Tuesday afternoon.The victims include two jawans of the Border Security Force (BSF) and a civilian driver. Two other troopers besides a doctor were injured when Naxals blew up the vehicles in which they were travelling-in in Sukma district of Chhattisgarh.

The senior police officials said that the jawans along with others were returning to the base after conducting the poll in two separate vehicles that was hit by a powerful landmine near Manjipara in Kerlapal under Sukma police station this afternoon.
